CTM Mounted Harrows for Chisel Plows
The CTM 4-bar Harrow trails your chisel plow, smoothing and leveling ridges as you go. Fall leveling with McFarlane’s CTM helps reduce soil compaction. It increases soil absorption of winter snow and rainfall while minimizing soil erosion. The CTM is easy to use too. Directly mounting to the chisel plow eliminates the hassle of pulling a separate soil finisher or crumbler. Best of all, the CTM reduces the number of tillage trips in spring by making it easier to finish fields in a single pass.

Features:

  • Fits virtually all makes and models of chisel plows and rippers
  • Designed for 3”, 4” and 6” rear tool bars (special mounts are available upon request)
  • Heavy-gauge rectangular tube frame
  • Adjustable pull point for varying heights/conditions
  • Sections are suspended with hardened chain to allow full flotation and maximum flexibility for residue clearance
  • 4 flexible bars to level, smooth, and bust lumps
  • Flexible linkages have replaceable wear bushing
  • Heavy-duty angle tooth bars are heavy enough to level, yet won’t plug
  • 3/4” x 11” square teeth made of high-carbon steel
  • Teeth are on 11” centers to prevent sections from plugging in heavy residue

3-Bar Mounted Harrow for the DMI Ecolo-Tiger with Disc Leveler
McFarlane’s 3-Bar Mounted Harrow attaches directly to the rear of the Ecolo-Tiger. With all the same features of the 4-Bar harrow, it provides the finishing touch necessary to help finish fields in a single pass. The McFarlane Mounted harrow prepares the soil so spring field preparation and planting can be done quicker and easier.

5-Bar Mounted Harrow for the John Deere 510 and 512 Series Disc Rippers
McFarlane’s 5-Bar Mounted Harrow attaches directly to the rear of the disk ripper frame. With all the same features of the 4-Bar harrow, the 5-bar also features two tooth pitch settings. Pulled from one direction, the harrow offers an aggressive tooth pitch, while the opposition direction provides less aggressive harrowing. The harrow breaks apart ridges left behind the disc ripper and smoothes the seedbed for spring field preparation and planting.
